| Ingrowing Hairs
Ingrown hair is a condition where the hair curls back or grows sideways into the skin to causes irritation, inflammation and sore bumps. It may or may not be accompanied by an infection of the hair follicle or "razor bumps‘.
Ingrown hair can frequently appear in areas where the skin is shaved, such as your beard, but can appear anywhere where the hair follicle is blocked. However, ingrown hair is commonly by anything that causes the hair to be broken off short with a sharp tip. This often means that shaving is the main culprit of this condition, followed by very tight clothing.
Ingrown Hair may not completely disappear and will probably reoccur because of the way in which the hair follicle desires to grow. However, the severity of the outbreak can be controlled. You can reduce the risk of this condition by using a sharp blade each time you shave and by applying a good aftershave lotion.
Furthermore, exfoliating facial scrubs, warm sponges, a good shaving cream, hot towels, or creams containing acids can reduce any blockages of the hair follicle, helping the hair to emerge from the skin in a straight manner.
